ChargeMyRide is a peer-to-peer mapping service where the content (charging points and related information) is crowdsourced and generated by our users. The website is intended solely for information sharing purposes.

ChargeMyRide does not own, operate, or maintain any of the charging locations shown on the map. We are a community-driven platform that connects EV drivers to share information about charging opportunities.

2. Accuracy of Information and Equipment Condition

We do not guarantee the accuracy, availability, or technical condition of the charging points listed. The maintenance of charging locations and the updating of information rely entirely on community activity.

⚠️ Safety Requirements

•Visual Inspection Required: You must always perform a visual inspection of the charging point and the charger before connecting any device.
•Do Not Use Damaged Equipment: Do not use a charger if you notice any damage to the cables, plugs, or the device itself.
•Property Owner Permission: Always ensure you have permission to use the charging equipment and access the location.

3. Limitation of Liability

ChargeMyRide (including its administrators and affiliates) shall not, under any circumstances, be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of the service or the charging locations.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Damage to the electronic device or vehicle being charged
Damage to the charging location's property, building, or electrical grid
Malfunction or breakage of chargers or other electrical equipment
Potential electrical fires, personal injuries, or other accidents
Loss of time, inconvenience, or any other losses

By using this service, you acknowledge and agree that you use the charging locations entirely at your own risk.

4. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate and helpful information when adding charging spots
Update or report outdated or incorrect information
Respect property rights and obtain permission before using charging equipment
Follow all local laws and regulations
Use common sense and prioritize safety at all times

5. Community Guidelines

When using ChargeMyRide, you agree to:

Not post false, misleading, or spam content
Respect other users and maintain a helpful community atmosphere
Not abuse the voting or reputation system
Report any safety concerns or dangerous locations

6. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in spam, abuse, or harmful behavior. Users may delete their own accounts at any time via Settings.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of ChargeMyRide after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

8. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
